A couple of years ago i did a presentation on the CSS Hunly to the local Sons of Confederate Veterans group If I am not mistaken they had a place they were attempting to set aside as the birth place and were working to place a marker at roadside. I am sorry i do not remember my contact with the SCV camp but the group meets at an attorney's office. I am sure they know the spot. Terry L. James married Mary Jane Frazor-daughter of George Winchester Frazor and Mary - Polly Kizer. I have Mary Janes parents estate settlement that was done right after the Civil War ended and James bought quite a few things there that leads me to believe he had to be fairly well off being it was right after the Civil War. They had children, Mary, Julia,Sarah, John , Jerome,Charlie,James D, all born between 1849 and 1869.
