    3. Sarah Kimbrough Brown was a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Graves Kimbrough. I have Thomas Kimbrough Sr. d. 1777 in Caswell Co. NC and m. to Eleanor Graves. I have 11 children's name including Sarah named first and your Frankey listed last. I have no other dates or information this far back. I am a direct descendant (8th generation) of Leonard and Sarah (Kimbrough) Brown to Robert Leonard and Susannah (Brown) Brown to Robert Martin and Mary Ann (Soape/Swope) Brown to Robert Cantrell and Matilda (Pearson) Brown to Flora Lavada Brown who married George Anderson Perdue to Birdie Elizabeth Perdue (her sister Bertha Bush Perdue married Amon Obed Graves) who married Ollie Witham Read in Sumner Co. TN to Clifton Richard Read who married my mother Clara Elizabeth Kalus in Germany. I would love to know any data you have regarding the Kimbrough family which includes Sarah who married Leonard Brown. Thank you. P.S. I always though Askey was colloquial for Escue. ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <TNSUMNER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2007 1:26 PM Subject: Re: [TNSUMNER] Askey Family > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: suebutchvarov > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.tennessee.counties.sumner/401.407.1.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > If Sarah Kimbrough is the daughter of Margaret Graves Kimbrough and Thomas > Kimbrough, she would have been the sister of my great great grandmother, > Francis Kimbrough (Frankey).
