Dinkins and Sarah Jane Gant. Sarah Jane was a sister of my own ancestor, Artelia Gant Hunter, and Lovina was therefore Artelia's niece. Artelia and Sarah Jane also had a sister named Eunice Lovina Gant, who was the wife of John L. Perry. The name was used several times in the larger family, including my grandfather's sister, who was Eunice Lavina Simpson Haynes (1916-1963). I would be interested in knowing more about Eunice Lavina (Dinkins) Stone. Thanks, Erick Montgomery

I too am looking for Stone's that went to Hopkins/Webster County KY. By 1850 a Pernecia Jane Stone married there. Through my research I found a lot of the Stones that migrated in the KY/TN came from Bedford Co., VA to Adair Co., KY and were descendants of a Michajah Stone. Is this isn't too far from Sumner/Macon area, I think it could be a high proability that this family connects. Hope this helps someone. Hi List-- Noah and Hannah were married in 1806 in Wilson Co, TN. Both were born ca. 1785, she in NC, he in DE or New England depending on how census records are interpreted. They had six (I am almost certain--possibly more) the youngest of the six born ca. 1823 in TN according to censuses beginning in 1840 in IL. Names: James, Silas, Elizabeth, Isaac (my direct line), Martha and Noah. I have yet to find Noah listed as head of household in a census up to and including 1830. It has been suggested they were living with family members but I have no sibling or parent names for Noah. A Richard HICKS signed the marriage bond for Hannah, but I have not found him on any record either I do have a record showing a Noah KELLEY sold some land to John NALL in Dickson Co in 1813. Does this fit in with anyone else's search? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you! Pat (Patricia) in WA State
