I do know he had a son born at that time, George W (I assume the W stands for Washington; as he has a nephew that is named George Washington Sanderson, my great grandfather.) He was known to be in the War of 1812 although he did not enter the army until Feb of 1814 at Gallatin TN and was discharged there. I am trying to find Edward's parents or his siblings. He was married to Elizabeth (Betsy) Ann Holman July 11, 1823 at Lincoln Co TN. Hope this connects with what you have. Let me know.

    1. Re: [TNSUMNER] Nick Name
    2. Several people responded to my query concerning the nickname Kizzie to say that the name was probably Kisiah or Keziah or Kaziah. I looked the name up in a book entitled "All the Women of the Bible," and Kezia was the second daughter of Job, born after his afflictions. The name is sometimes spelled Cassia, a word linked with the fragrance of a flower. Job 42:15 states "And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job." So it looks like Kizzie's parents were very pleased with their daughter to give her the name. Now all I've got to do is figure out who Kizzie Bruce was!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all who responded. Joyce
