    1. [TNSUMNER] Descendants of Leonard Brown Book Update
    2. Hi Sumner Friends, I am putting the final touches on the Descendants of Leonard and Sarah Kimbrough Brown book that, hopefully, will be published by Summer 2002. If you are a descendant of this family and want your family included, be sure and let me know. There are already 450 pages of descendants in the registry report. But, I will add more if needed. Also, we are planning a 200th year Leonard Brown family reunion in July 2002. If you are interested in more info, please give me a holler and we will put you on the mailing list. 1. [TNSUMNER] Family buried at Old Fountain Head? Please help
    2. Hi Sumner Co. Researchers. I was contacted several months ago, about a project regarding Old Fountain Head Cemetery. A group of people have organized "Old Fountainhead Inc." They are compiling a book (money goes to the upkeep of the cemetery) which lists: "...all marked graves and data on the grave marker, a plat of the cemetery to assist in location of the graves." They are interested in information about the people buried in this cemetery. If you would like to help out please send me any data, family history, etc. If you want me to include your name, e-mail and/or address please let me know before I forward your contribution. Thanks! Diane Payne

    1. [TNSUMNER] Dr Robert Durham
    2. June Fore
    3. Good morning, Would any one who had family living in Sumner County in the late 1800's possibly have a photo of Dr. Robert Durham? He lived at Pleasant Grove near Westmoreland and was a country doctor. He was born in 1833 in Allen County and died in 1907 in Sumner County. He married Louisa Kinslow and continued to work and live in this community (Pleasant Grove) till he died. I feel there must be a picture of him floating around someplace since he was so important to the community. He was was a Mason and active in community life. If anyone has a clue or could advise me where to look I would be so appreciative. Thanks for any help!!!! June in Indiana Dr. Robert is my gggrand father.
