She was born in IN 12 Sep 1819 to John Pew & Elizabeth Grimes. As far as we know she never married though she had 3 sons and was close to her siblings [there were 11]. She died 26 Oct 1900 in Cedarvale, Chautaugua, KS where she is also buried. Her sons were named Preston G, John Wesley [our line], and Hiram Wiley. All of her sons went by Pugh or Pew. I have never heard of a Joseph Nance. Would appreciate your info. Thanks

Have had not luck with finding the family of Mary (Polly) Turner b. ca 1780 NC d. 1863 , Paris, Henry Co. TN m. 1 Dec 1800 Davidson Co. TN John C. Hamilton who became the First Attorney General of TN b. 5 May 1774 d. 9 Mar 1833 in court at Charlotte, Dickson County, TN Records for the Hamilton family are in Sumner Co. but cannot prove his family on paper either. They had 10 children and I have proof of them and some of their families Would love a clue from anyone Thanks Joy Bland
