Does anyone on the list know of or have information on this Thomas J. Payne? He was born Sept. 11, 1804 in the Shenandoah Valley of VA, perhaps in Albemarle Co, VA. He married Mary (Polly) Moody, b. 1804 in TN. Together they had these children in Sullivan Co, TN. Susan, b. July 23, 1825, d. May 15, 1899 Elizabeth,  b. April 19, 1828, d. May 20, 1885 Nancy  b. Feb. 5, 1831, Hannah, b. April 3, 1833 Jesse, b. Oct. 24, 1835, d. Mar 6, 1863 Winnie, b. Feb 26, 1838, d. June 5, 1880 George Valentine, b. May 20, 1840 Emma, b. Oct 16, 1842, d.
