He had an illegitimate child with a Mable Countiss. It is for the daughter of the child conceived that I am searching for this information. The child was born at Mrs. Sweeney's Maternity Home in Nashville, TN. He was named Raymond Grant. Herbert was listed as the father, 20 years old, living in Bristol and a mail carrier. The child was later adopted by a family in Arkansas. If you have any information on this Herbert Grant I would appreciate your response. I have just about searched out.
