Joyce, Your info you provided in regards to the two Glover brothers is interesrting and informative. I have just started the research of the Glover family due to the possible fact that a James D Millhorn md a Glover. But not sure. I am narrowing the possibility to a Mary "Glover" ? or Mary A "Renow"? living in the HH of James and Rebecca Glover in 1850 and 1860. Trying to find out if this Mary is a "Glover" or a "Renow". Were there any other families around with the surname of "Renow" or similar spelling? Thanks JW Garrett
I'm not familiar with the name. I just ran a search in ancestry.com and found one Renow family in Greene Co., TN in 1840, one in Roane Co., TN in 1850 and a family in Overton Co., TN in 1860.
