On the Social Security Death Index, there is a J. C. Witt, born 7-17-1911, died 10-1-1999 in Chattanooga, TN. This is in Hamilton County. You might want to look there and attempt to get a copy of the obituary or SS papers. The last known contact for Marguerite was in 1962 when she wrote to the Buckner Orphan's Home for information to get her birth certificate. She was at that time Mrs. J. C.
