    3. I haven't had time to go through my entire 1860 census, but in the 1870 census Margaret is listed with this family: Alfred Phipps 58, Mary Phipps 60, Elizabeth Prater 38, Catharine Phipps 24, Elijah Phipps 22, Margaret 16, Darkie Prater 11, Alfred Prater 8, and Charley Warsham 6. Mary, Alfred, Elizabeth Prater and Alfred Prater were all born in Virginia. All others, Tennessee. Alfred was a farmer. Do you by any chance show one of your earlier Phipps married to a Beeler? Also, would you have a Brown, Thomas, Duncan or Beeler in your line? 3. Margaret is the only PHIPPS I have right now - she is my 2G grandmother and has been a bit of a brick wall for several years. Just found out they [her and her husband] were in Dickson C,o. TN 1900 and was able to get the Jan 1855 birthdate from that. As I research this line, I will be sure to keep you in mind - when anyone asks for information that I don't have, I put it into a data base and check it every month in case I do come across it. I really do thank you for you time in looking this up for me.
