Uncle Hiram's was in Applachia and Uncle Irvin's was in Kingsport, Tn. I think Uncle George's was in Georgia but I could be mistaken...it was somewhere in the deep South. The Harlem store still has the faded FULLER'S sign painted on the side of the building. Uncle Hiram died in 1935-36 but his daughter, Louise, operated his store until she retired about five years ago. Uncle Irvin's store, FULLER & HILLMAN, was still in business for many years after his death but I don't know who ran it or owned it. There's still a business of some sort there. All the stores were elegant stores. Uncle Irvin also, like my grandfather, had a real estate business in Kingsport. I have a large picture taken at the old Fuller homeplace in Hancock Co., Tn, during the 1935 family reunion. All the brothers are lined up in the back row. Handsome men. Marion and Icy had already passed away but I have a photo of them sitting on their porch. Wish I could share them with you as we have them in common.
