She married a Taylor unable to find any record of this marriage or husband given name or if there was any children by this marriage. When she married Andrew Jackson Meece 3/29/1939 in Pulaski County, Ky he died 1947 Pulaski County, Kentucky. She stated it was her 3rd marriage and her name was Dollie Taylor & her brother signed marriage licence. She was listed in 1962 in her brothe! r's Obit as living in Kingsport, Tennessee and name Dolly Meece. She had visual problems and rumor has it some of her children came to get her in Pulaski County after her 3rd husband died and took her with them. I have tried to contact your local paper about a obit or putting a note asking for her family to contact me but they were not very nice and miss understood my request. They replied that they did not do research which I was not asking them to do. Locally her we have a death index at our local library that will tell the date, page & column the obit appears so we can look up the obit on microfilm. I also have been to your Tennessee Vital stats department and they will not let you look at the death index to get the date to request a copy of the death certificate. They wanted a fee to search each year which could have been 20yrs and no quarentee they would find one. Do you have a local health department that has death records. I mainly need a date & place of her death and where she is buried. I am willing to make another trip to Tennessee if someone can give me a hint as to where to search once I get to Kingsport. Thanks for any help that can be given. I promised my father before he died 1987 I would keep looking for his Aunt Dollie. Fran Hofstetter
