Davis; who have been motoring through the country in their car, have been spending several days at the Inn. Mr. Davis is president of the Kingsport Hosiery Mill. Miss Blanche Cook has returned from a ten days' visit in Bristol. V. V. Kelsey left yesterday for New York on a short business trip. Miss Lucy Edwards and Dr. C. P. Edwards motored to Bristol Saturday. B. T. Whitnall motored to Bristol Sunday. J. C. Price spent the week-end in Rogersville. Mrs. W. C. Schinkel and children have returned to their home here after spending several months in Ohio. Bradley VanBossen visited Bristol Thursday. Miss Belle Lawrence, S. Flem Dobyns and W. W. Hufford are in New York on business connected with the Kingsport Stores, Inc. S. H. Anderson has returned to Kingsport and accepted his former position with the Kingsport Stores. Mrs. R. M. Maner spent the weekend at her home at Roan Mountain. Mrs. S. P. Platt and children of New York have returned to Kingsport and are living on Park Hill. G. E. Long left this morning for his home at Newmarket, Tenn. He will probably remain there for several weeks. A. D. Brockman is spending the day in Johnson City. R. Floyd Smith is out of town for a few days. J. C. Stone is in Johnson City today. Robt. Wallace, of Chicago, is in town for several days. Mrs. W. D. Kenner, Jr., has been visiting at Rogersville. Hugh M. Lyons visited his mother Mrs. Grace K. Lyons, at Rogersville last week. J. J. Phillips, a member of Sullivan County Board of Education, was in town Saturday. Mrs. Will Hundey and Miss Ruby Sale, of Norfolk, Va., are visiting Mrs. E. B. Harris on Park Hill. Roland E. Chase, of Clintwood, Va was here attending Court and looking after legal matters last week. Mrs. Bela N. Barnes and sons, Bela N., Jr., and Fred, who have been making their home at Gastonia, N. C., have come to Kingsport with Mr. Barnes and are living now at the Roller Club. W. F. Green, who lives on Route No. 2, was a visitor in the city yesterday. Mrs. J. H. Picklesimor, of Brevand, N. C., is a visitor in the city. The Ladies' Aid Society of the M. E. Church will meet Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with Mrs. James Crum. The Rev. D. J. Curry, of De Funiak Springs, Fla., is visiting his brother, P. V. Hogan, and Mrs. Hogan, on Watauga street. Miss Marguerite Shipp, of Bristol, visiting her cousin, Miss Mary Howard.
