    3. No Joseph Carr listed. William CARR 1815 wb-12 Maury Co. William C. CARR 1835 wb-2-195 Sumner Co. If you are interested in a copy of any of these wills, I do specific document retrieval every week from the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville. I do charge a small fee for this service since I travel 2 hours each way and have to pay a babysitter. The fee for the lookup is $8 plus .25 per page for copies and the cost of postage. A one page document usually amounts to $8.62. You pay me AFTER you receive your documents/information. Please keep me in mind should you ever need any documents from Tennessee. Crawford, who was born in Tennessee in 1842. He died in Fayette County WV on 3/20/1934. He was 92 years old. He had one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Catherine Crawford, who was born abt 1875. I think she was born in West Virginia, but I haven't been able to locate her birth record. I don't know her mother's name. I know James F was in Fayette County West Virginia in 1930 from the census. I found a James Crawford on the 1900 West Virginia census for Clay County, but I'm not sure he's the right one. This James Crawford's wife's name was Virgie or Virginia. He also had a son, Bert. If any of this ties in with your information, I 'd be glad to hear from you.

SULLIVAN COUNTY NEWS Thursday May 13, 1999 WEAVER linage dates to before Revolution I stated earlier that John Weaver was quite a colorful man; while John was still married to Ann "Beeler", Weaver was accused of having an affair, with a Sally A. Jones for about ten years. Weaver sued John Weaver for divorce and won the case. Shortly after divorce, John Weaver married Sally A. Jones and before John Weaver died, he wrote a deed and gave his home and property to Sally A. Weaver. After the death of Lucinda "Feathers" Barker, William H .Barker married Sally A. Weaver, widow of John Weaver. (See Elkanah Feathers History.) William H. and wife Sally A. Barker sold the old John Weaver property (Deed Book 26; page 537, Sullivan County). The last account of William H. Barker and wife Sally was in Washington County, Va. William H. Barker raised the children of John Weaver: (See. Circuit Court minutes Book B, Page 640), Deed book 26 Page, 537, John Weaver property to Sally A, Weaver dated Jan. 28, 1875, Deed Book 37, Page 370 ,William H. Barker and wife Sally. A. Barker sold John Weaver property March 3, 1883 John Weaver's divorce was final on the 14th day of May 1871 and on May 25, 1871; he married Sarah A. Jones. William H. Barker married Sarah A. Weaver on Sept.22. 1881. The above events happened so fast that they just capture my imagination.
