LAWRENCE, pastor of the First Baptist Church at Dover was elected as pastor/advisor of the Central Region Training Union Convention at its annual meeting June 20 at Gallatin. At same meeting Mrs. Mamye Pearl RYKER won first place in the regional speakers tournament. She will compete for state honors at Belmont College at Nashville on July 3.
