Good morning, The Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society will hold its next meeting on Sturday, September 18, 2004, at the Edmondson Pike Branch of the Nashville Public Library at 1 p.m. Elizabeth Queener will speak on "Friersons Rediscovered & Reunited: Black & White" -- The remarkable story of how the descendants of Dr. Thomas James Frierson and his 97 slaves of Maury County were reunited in their common heritage and reaffirmed in their hopes for tomorrow at a gathering at the old plantation home and slave gravesites.
