Atkins, William D. Howell, Harold L. Stone, Hershell Crockarell, Mrs. Clara Sykes, Kenneth Herndon, Bruce Whitford and Scott Hart. The work of taking the census of the county began Saturday, April 1, and will be completed by the end of the month, Cherry announced. (NOTE: I thought this was a pretty interesting article to post, especially since we all scower the census records for our ancestors. Even though the 1950 census won't be released for public view for many more years to come, seeing some of the people who took these census was interesting.)
