Yes, the debris from the church was removed but when we walked up onto the hill where the cemetery is located we found maybe 15-20 fresh (1 week or less) sites and it was clear that they were not from new people being buried. It was very puzzling because looking at the spot it isn't exactly a place that needs to be moved to make way for a skyscraper to go up as there is plenty of other land available.
