    3. Melissa, Felix Zollicoffer was a Civil War Brigadier General, a former newspaper editor and Tennessee Congressman. He was killed in the battle of Mill Springs when he rode out between the lines, mistook a Union colonel for one of his own officers, rode up to him to give him an order, and promptly got a bullet in the chest for his trouble. He was a lousy general but his men loved him.
