Sue, We are remembering all the folks who are suffering through this horrible and long hurricane. We have friends in Cedar Key and are very worried about them as we cannot get through. Even where we live in Georgia we are beginning to experience rain and gusts of wind around 30 mph an hour with tornado warnings and this is not much in comparison to what Florida is experiencing............you are all in our thoughts and prayers...........Donna ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Edmunds" <suedmunds@yahoo.com> To: <TNSTEWAR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 06, 2004 6:13 AM Subject: [TNSTEWAR] Frances > We live in Citrus County, Florida. The hurricane Frances is in the Gulf and we are entering the back side of the storm. Yes, it is still a hurricane in this part of Florida. Today will probably be the worse day here. > > We had a 12 hour power outage, shingles litter the yard, and a small tree is down. It really has not been too bad yet. I watch what is happening in Tampa, 60 miles south and it gives me chills. There is a big water surge from Tampa Bay and it is getting worse. My nephew lives on a canal in Tampa and I'm sure water is in his house. Tornado's and high winds are in the forecast. > > We live on a hill (yes, there are hills in FL.) and will not flood, but most of the county is sea level. I fear for the people residing closer to the Gulf. > > Keep Florida in your prayers! > > Sue in FL > > > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Yahoo!
