    3. Melissa, I don't have to visually scan since I use the "find" menu to search the text for Parchman. It only takes a few seconds to scan and then delete each one. So far, I've only found 4 names so far, but they mostly for living children without the Parchman parent's name, and I can't connect them to my tree which only goes up to about 1930. I put them aside for future use. Gerry

    3. Melissa, I agree with Gerry. Your condensed version of the obits are fine. The way you have them set up makes it easy for me to go directly to the line that I need. Also (much to the chagrin of my family), I am a very fast reader; so the way you do it is fine with me. I am looking forward to any obits you post from the early 30s to the early 40s, if you have them.
