    2. Grizzard is somewhat like the name Pinkstaff. If you have the Pinkstaff name, you are definitely related. And every time I see Grizzard, I think the same thing. So let me add a bit about another fellow named Lewis Grizzard, born and raised here in the Atlanta area. He was an author, humorist, and had a column with the Atlanta Paper, (AJC) for many years. Everyone enjoyed Lewis' column in the paper, Lewis had a way of putting things into perspective "real quick like". Among those books he authored are: Kathy Sue Loudermilk, I Love You (best seller) Won't you Come Home, Billy Bob Bailey? Don't Bend Over in the Garden, Granny, You Know Them Taters Got Eyes The Last Bus to Albuquerque Don't Forget to Call Your Mama, I wish I Could Call Mine Shoot Low, Boys, They're Riding Shetland Ponies Some of the funniest, bittersweet writings about life, his life and those in his life. Lewis Grizzard passed in March 1994. Diann

    2. Diann, I still enjoy reading his books. He could have you laughing your head off one minute and bawling like a baby the next. Especially with the book about his mother. Wonder what kind of perspective he would put on what's going on today.
