Henry, has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal and was slightly wounded in France. Pvt. Wofford, who has been in service since January 1944, removed a vehicle and trailer, not his assigned vehicle, from danger of destruction by being blown up. He thereby assisted in the salvage of a large quantity of artillery ammunition at great personal risk.
