Melissa, wow...you are really on the ball with this genealogy stuff! You must spend HOURS each day on it all, between all the valuable postings you do each day, etc. I imagine your lookups would help Phyllis alot since her families still live in that area. I would be curious to learn what entries there may be, if any, for the surnames BELISLE, BELL, SMITH and DURHAM and whether there is any mention of any DURHAMs leaving TN by 1855 (when my gg grandmother Hannah Elizabeth DURHAM was born in MO). I know my Ira Franklin (Frank) BELISLE left TN sometime between 1850 and 1870, because he married Hannah DURHAM in MO in 1871, but was born in TN (1850). Is Hardeman County anywhere near Houston/Stewart Counties?
