Charles Ross, son of this George Ross, is the same one who married 1-24-1889 to Fanny Wallace. The children of George and Maria (Cherry) Ross included: 1. Irena Ross (c. 1856) - married c. 1877 to Francis Marion McCoy 2. Bettie Ross (c. 1858) 3. Irwin H. Ross (1861/1922) - married Isabella Rolls and Alice Taylor 4. Sarah Addie Ross (1863/1938) - married ______ Bachelor and Edmond Gates Hogan 5. Drury Wesley Ross (1867/1917) - married Blanche Lewis 6. Charles T. Ross (1872) - married Fanny Wallace As for George Ross' mother, my notes say she was Elizabeth Strawbridge, but as this is not my direct Ross line, I don't have proof, so it could be Mary Anderson instead as the wife of Eli Ross. Also, can you shed any light on who their children that are mentioned in the obituary below? I take it Rena married a McCoy and is E. G. Hogan a mans name or a daughter's initials who married a Hogan? I've got them with children, Drew and Ervin Hinson Ross. Is that right? Oh, one more thing, I had George Ross' parents as Eli and Mary Anderson. Is Mary Strawbridge her maiden name and did she also marry an Anderson or is my information wrong? Help!!!!!
