Hello List, I want to see if I can find out information on a Fred Morris born in Stewart County. My father told me he was married with at least 1 child told his wife he was going out side on the farm would be back and NO ONE ever saw him again. Not around there anyway. There were rumors years later he may have located to the St. Elmo, Ky. community in Christian County, Kentucky remarried etc. I believe Fred's father was Asa E. Morris or( one of Asa's son's child) born Sept. 24, 1870 and died Jan. 31,1938, married Mary Elizabeth Jones October 25, 1891 and lived in Jordan Springs, Tennessee most of his life. Asa E. Morris parents were Martin Luther Morris and Narcissa Rose Cherry Morris. I have the E stands for Eastwood anyone else find that information? Their children: 1.Harvey Winfield Morris Born July 10, 1898 maybe Fred was his son? 2.Fredrick Randolph Morris Born March 5, 1894 could this be the Fred? 3. William Burton Morris says he was born 1890 and I was told he committed suicide in 1940. He married Marie walker they lived in Clarksville, Tennessee and had 2 daughter I believe. 4. Carlisle Benton Morris born March 6, 1896 Died June 6, 1949 5. Pearl Inez Morris Born Jan 15, 1909 Also there was a man by the name of Ed Outlaw of Stewart County that killed a Morris that was a school teacher in Indian mound in Stewart County, Tennessee in 1921. does anyone have information about this? I hope all of this information is correct. Please let me know if it isn't. Hope someone out there can help me find out more information on my family.
