The 1850 census is interesting: Hh 838 Wyatt Tuggle 44 & wife Elizabeth 48 Hh 839 Andrew Meadows 21 & wife Tabitha 14 Actually Andrew Jackson Meadows & wife Talitha Jane Tuggle Meadows. Married one week when the census was taken. Hh 840 Henry Meadows 50 (Father of Andrew Jackson & mt gg grandfather) Hh 841 Elie Stavely 60 I have found no evidence that either Henry Meadows or Wyatt Tuggle ever owned any land. Eli Stavely owned quite a lot of land so I think Henry and Wyatt worked for Eli in some capacity. I am very interested in your reasoning that Wyatt Tuggle is not the son of Harris B.
