For almost 30 years before he retired, he was with Daniel Construction Co. Before that he was with two Nashville based companies - Nashville Stone Setting and Foster and Creighton Construction - and with the Tennessee State Highway Dept. OBITUARY, The Stewart-Houston Times, Wednesday, July 21, 1982: Vivian Lewis Ernest Vivian Lewis, 86, died July 8 at Sylacauga, Alabama hospital. Mr. Lewis was a native of Stewart County and a son of the late Felix and Edna Lewis. He was survived by his wife, the former Lucille Ralls, a son, Earl Ralls Lewis and two grandchildren all of Sylacauga; two brothers: Trabue and Felix Lewis both of Nashville; one sister, Mrs. James P. Weaks of Dover. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Riggins and three brothers, Harland, Hix and Wilton Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a veteran of World War I. He was in France when the Armistice was signed in 1918. He was an active member of the Administrative Board of the First United Methodist Church in Sylacauga.
