Norris, I have a correction to your information posted on 11 March 2008 on Columbus Wallace and Tennessee Wofford family: Their daughter, Mary Ann Wallace, married my grandfather, Bailey Thompkins Puckett (not Albert L. Puckett) on 12 Aug 1890. They had a son, Alvin Wesley Puckett, b. 26 May 1891 (he died in France in World War 1). Mary Ann died (reportedly of yellow fever) sometime before the 1900 census as "Alvey" was living with his Wallace grandparents at that time. Bailey then married Amy Duncan 4 Dec 1900, who died in childbirth. If anyone can tell me who her parents were, I would appreciate it as I have not found them.
