To apply to the DAR, I would recommend you go to their website and read the information there. I am lucky, there is a local branch here in Rome, GA, who I contacted and went to one of their meetings. One of the ladies is working with me, to fill out the application and get all my documentation together. I already have my line traced back to Edmund Hogan, have copies of his military/pension records and he is already established as a Patriot. Good luck.
