Is there anyone that has information about Ed Outlaw killing the school teacher at Indian Mound Samuel Morris? I saw where Sam died October, 1921. I am related to him like this I believe. Pam, What I have in my notes for Samuel Morris the school teacher is this "Sam was killed at age 33. He was a school teacher. He taught a child from the Outlaw family and one day gave the boy a "thrashing". The boy's father, Ed Outlaw, was very angry and made threats against Sam. Sam said that he was not afraid of anyone. One day when Sam was shopping Mr. Ed Outlaw walked by and fatally shot Sam while he was in the store." This story was told to me by Delwin Harris, husband of Dorothy Morris Harris on April 2, 1991.
