Norris, Absolutely! Houston County was formed in 1871 from parts of Dickson County, Stewart County, Montgomery County and Humphreys County. My fault, I wasn't paying attention to the dates like I should have, the geology of the time period of 1808-1820 would dictate that Stewart County would adjoin Dickson County.
