Hi, I have hundreds of photos of Stewart County folks from the time period ~1910-1930. The photos were taken by Sam A. Feltner. I believe they are mostly residents of Districts 4 & 5. There are groups, couples, families, individuals, infants, children and school groups etc. Unfortunately none of the people in the photos were identified. I have been able to identify a few with the surname Hargis, Hinson, Ellis, Morris, Wallace, Page, Miles, Feltner, and a few others. If anyone has photos from this time period and know who the people are, I would like to get a copy to see if they appear in the photos I have. If so, I will be happy to share those photos with you. My aim is to identify as many people as possible before I donate this archive to the Stewart County Historical Society. Duane Hargis
Duane, Please find attached pictures of my family, the first one attached is Alvin Johnson, father was John H Johnson, Maude is my dad's sister, Maude Glover Johnson. Azalea is my mom's great aunt; her brother was Albert F. Powell. Julia Kenneda is my grandmother; her mother was Mary Francis Ezell Joiner. My mother is in the picture with Julia, Lettie Mae Powell.
