Hello List, Been terribly quiet on this list lately!!! Need some help with the following family: Nora Christopher born 8 February 1900 in Stewart County daughter of Robert and Emma Christopher. She went by "Dolly" sometimes. Nora married Andrew Jackson Barker on 13 November 1913 in Stewart County. Nora died 6 May 1978 and had lived all of her life in Stewart County and in the Carlisle area. Nora's obituary lists her parents as Mr. and Mrs. George Christopher but census records say otherwise. Possibly her father was Robert George or George Robert Christopher? I need to know anything about this Christopher family in the Stewart and Benton County areas. Robert and Emma Christopher are listed in the 1900 Benton County, TN. Census with children: Robert Christopher Emma Christopher, born 1868, age 32 Walter Christopher Minnie B. Christopher b. Oct. 1887 Elmer Christopher b. July 1891 Annie Christopher b. February 1895 Nora the youngest Robert and Emma Christopher are listed in the 1910 District 6, Stewart County, TN. Census Robert Christopher age 50, married for 28 years Emma Christopher age 41 Elmer Christopher age 18 Anna Christopher age 15 Sidney Christopher age 7 Nora Christopher age 10 Any help appreciated!!
