Hi Rita, Hope the information helped. I was questioning the date of Nancy's birth as she was much older than Alex Outland. I talked to Nancy's granddaughter Dorthy (Dottie)Outland Benoit whose father was William George Outland son of Nancy Austin and Alex Outland and brother to Rosa Outland Knight.She confirmed that Nancy was much older and also that Nancy's picture did hang over the bed of Alex Outland and Alice Crutcher throughout their marriage. Dottie lives in Murray, Kentucky. The picture of Nancy Austin Outland is in the hands of a GG granddaughter (Debbie Bowenman) in Manassas, VA. Do you have any information on Francis Marion Knight? He is buried in the Bailey-Byrd Cemetery in Stewart County. He was a Civil War Vet Co D 14th TN INF,CSA, Moved from Cem. #116, grave 60.
