I'm a Shemwell, Dan. Pulley is my married name. I can't recall any Arthur Pulley and since it's late I will look up the Pulley tree tomorrow after work. Now if you would have said Archie Pulley that's my husband's Uncle. I'm sure we will find an Arthur in there some where. ............My husbands line came from Elisha but I do see an Arthur stemming down from the Hampton branch. His father was Rufus born in 1853. Rosa Outland Knight died in Child birth with Jewel.Rosa was indeed the daughter of Alex Outland and Nancy Austin along with an older son William George Outland. Rosa was first raised by Alex Dosey Outland and Nancy Austin Outland. Nancy was the first wife for Alex and she was born 11/29/1877 and died 10/7/1907. Nancy and Alex were married 10/1/1899. Rosa was mostly raised by Alex's second wife Alice Crutcher born 11/29/1879 and died 4/20/1979. They were married June 10, 1910. Alex and Alice also raised Jewell as Rudy Leland Knight had moved to Colorado. He came to take Jewel back with him but Uncle Alex would not let him take her. Alex was an older brother to my grandfather Jordan Henry Outland who first married Rudy's sister Nina Knight. She died in 1923 and Jordan then married Nina's cousin Gertrude Knight (My Grandmother) in November 1924. Rudy was the son of Quintis Knight and Mollie Burns. My Grandmother(Gertrude) was the daughter of John R. Knight (older brother to Quintis) and Louella Smith. Jewel Knight is still living  and I talk to her about every three months. She is 89. According to Jewel and other older relatives Uncle Alex kept the picture of his first wife Nancy Austin hanging over the bed he shared with Alice Crutcher for their entire marriage. Rudy Leland Knight wad born 3/21/1899 and died 12/6/1963 in Colorado. He was the 1960-61 Coloradao fiddle champion. I have a lot of information on the Outland's and quite a bit on the Knight's.
