    3. Randy, Thanks so much for taking time to go out to the cemetery. As I had said Peggy Moore was going to go out and see what she could find, I hate that you spent the time, but it is appreciated. Peggy has reported back to me that they also could not find Sarah Moran with a headstone but had talked to the staff and was able to locate where her plot is, but now that you mention it, I don't know which St. John's she found it at. She said she took photo's of the place where Sarah is suppose to be buried and got me some maps, etc. I sure with there had been a stone but that is how things go. Again, I truly appreciate the time you took out of your day to be of help to me!! 3. Thanks Jan for the comment. I think you are great myself.I lurk in the back ground most of the time but I sure am glad to see you back online. I hope you and yours are doing great. You have been a blessing to me and my family. Melissa, I went to St.Johns Cemetery and did the search tombstone by tombstone for the Sarah Moran and I also came up with nothing. Funny thing is that I only found 1 Moran tombstone there, I beleive it was a David. There was allot of Missing headstones and/or Tombstone that was nor readable. Now the question I have, are you sure that it is the St.Johns Cemetery in Granite City. The reason I ask is there is a St.Johns Cemetery in Collinsville Illinois which is not to far from here. I found a few years ago that some people that I was researching and that I was told was in the Granite City St.Johns was in the Collinsvilles Cemetery.Let me know If I can be further help. 3. Rita, Right now I don't have a Lucy A. Moran in my research. Looking at the birth date, it's possible that she could be a sister to James W./George W./Scott Moran who is the husband to Sarah Elizabeth Barker. I have yet to find who Scott's parents are or his siblings, etc. Thanks for sharing this information, will keep it handy and if I find a connection I will certainly let you know. 3. Thanks Randy, that is a very nice offer. Peggy Moore said that she checked an index for St. Johns Cemetery and can't find Sarah Moran listed. Possibly her headstone doesn't exist any longer, not sure yet. If I can locate a headstone, I will be sure to get back with you. 3. List, I just posted a message to Peggy and I did that in error. I meant to send it to her private email. Everyone remember that the mailing list does not allow me to attach images of the obituaries, so if you are contacting me about wanting a copy of an obituary please send me a personal email, do not reply to the mailing list post. I try to pay attention to the address but sometimes, like this time, I didn't notice it. Melissa Barker

    3. Hi Jeanette, My name is Dan Outland and we have communicated in the past. My Great Grandfather was also John R. Knight and my grandmother was Gertrude Knight who married Jordan Henry Outland. I went to the Knight family reunion in Paris, TN this summer along with my Aunt Frances Herndon. I know that you couldn't attend but hopefully we can both get there next year. I got to meet Barney Knight and his son Gene along with Uncle Babe Knight's grand son James Mathias. I am pretty sure that Uncle Babe Knight was one of John R. Knight's brothers but I don't for sure which on. Do you have any info on Uncle Babe? The site was put together for family members interested in the stories about our ancestors rather than all the dates we researchers like to collect. It does, however, contain a lot of factual material, but sources are not usually cited unless it is a direct quote. Please use whatever material might be useful in your family research. I only ask for credit for the research. Of course corrections of information are most welcome. 2. Thank you for the info that once again helped tie in loose ends. ha.  But it leads to more questions for me. Do you know who George Milburn Nunns parents were.  I have a George Milburn Nunn son of Mertie May Cherry and Aubrey Owen Nunn Sr. but his mother's dates that I have are 1909-1957 and I have no dates for George or their children.  According to the mothers dates that would make her and George too  young for the one married to Alabama Jones. I have Gertrude and Jordan and had Lucille but no mate for her.  I must have had that info on Lucille before the hard drive died so not sure what happened.  Don't know why I didn't see Lucille when I was looking up the names for you either???? libbye ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sylvia Outland" <outland@go-concepts.com> To: tnstewar@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, September 14, 2009 7:00:10 AM (GMT-0500) Auto-Detected Subject: Re: [TNSTEWAR] Harper, Knight, Chadwick Hi Rita, The parents of Lucille Knight were William Albert Knight( born 11/9/1875 and died 1/21/1955 ) and Harriet Louise Nunn (born 11/2/1881 and died 6/25/1930) both buried in the Nunn Cemetery.
