Dear Suzanne, Hello, sorry to say that there are no online death record indexes for the years 1931-1948. They have to be accessed at the State Archives or at one of the few libraries that have been able to afford to buy the microfilms. I can access them at the archives if you need me to do a search, just email me privately. There is one other index that you might check if they died from 1949-2005: http://register.shelby.tn.us/index.php Look all the way over the your right and you will see a search that you can search the Tennessee Death Certificates for the years 1949-2005 for all counties. I am trying to find death dates for two of my great-great uncles that are buried in Cross Creek Cemetery in Indian Mound. One of our cousins are wanting to purchase a head stone to honor them.
