Jerree, Gerry With the internet there are many links to find the causalities and you can bet the major news networks will try to embarrass the administration when they can, especially during an election year. I don't think the administration is controlling the news networks if the information is available over the internet. The news networks aren't interested in individuals or their families unless it sells TV time or they feel they can embarrass an administration. Anyway here's a good link to one of the lists. http://icasualties.org/oif/BY_DOD.aspx We didn't have this during the Vietnam War. News isn't interested in facts, only sensationalism. Sorry but I needed to respond to previous posts. Personally I don't think this list is the proper place for these discussions. I did want to post this list link if anyone was interested though. By the way I served 2 tours in Vietnam Jan 68-Aug 69 and am proud to have served my country. Baloney!!!!!! My three younger sons were glued to the TV every night during the Vietnam war expecting to see their dad or their oldest brother being killed any night. I finally had to remove the TV and forbid them to go to anybody's house that had TV. During the same time the local Cub Scout Pack refused to admit them because they had no dad. (later a Pack out of our upper case neighborhood took them in). Grieving is a very private matter.... not for public consumption.....I can not even bare the sound of `Taps'..... jerree

Yes, the debris from the church was removed but when we walked up onto the hill where the cemetery is located we found maybe 15-20 fresh (1 week or less) sites and it was clear that they were not from new people being buried. It was very puzzling because looking at the spot it isn't exactly a place that needs to be moved to make way for a skyscraper to go up as there is plenty of other land available. Greetings, I recently visited Stewart County, TN hoping to visit Lee Cemetery (aka Green Cemetery) but when I arrived where the old church used to stand and parked it became quite obvious that some type of relocation or excavation of the Lee Cemetery is underway. Does anyone have additional information that might help me figure out where people may be located now? Thanks, Jason Canon Virginia

Melissa, Felix Zollicoffer was a Civil War Brigadier General, a former newspaper editor and Tennessee Congressman. He was killed in the battle of Mill Springs when he rode out between the lines, mistook a Union colonel for one of his own officers, rode up to him to give him an order, and promptly got a bullet in the chest for his trouble. He was a lousy general but his men loved him.
