If anyone has additional information regarding this family, please let me know. This is part of my Welker line as George's mother was Clara Bell Welker. I did not know until I saw this obituary that George was married prior to or after Willie Heflin, dau. of Joe and Lois Lee Heflin. He and Willie had no children. I asked an elderly relative and she said that George's first wife was Cherokee. They were from Clarksville, maybe.
