    2. Melissa Barker
    3. Hello, the original obituary states he died in "General Care Nursing Home" but no city or state listed. Evidently, the Rose Valley Cemetery is next to the Rose Valley United Methodist Church which I believe Norris answered was in Indian Mound. That is all the obituary reveals. 1. [TNSTEWAR] Rev. War Veterans added to Stewart Co. site
    2. Jim Long
    3. I've started a page on the Stewart Co. Genealogy site for Stewart Countians who fought in the Revolutionary War. The information I've posted comes from the pension applications made by the veterans in 1818 and 1832, when Congress enacted laws providing pensions to veterans who could prove their service. The web page will include any veteran who lived at one time in Stewart County, even if he applied for his pension after leaving Stewart County. These pension applications can be a rich source of genealogical information that often cannot be found anywhere else, including the birth date and place of the veteran, his military service, and the places the veteran lived after the war. The new page is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnstewar/revwar.htm and is linked from the History section of the home page.

    2. Hi Melissa I know we have emailed in the past but I am not sure if I ever asked you if you had any record of the marriage of John Barbee and Poly Armstrong in Henry County about 1846ish. I have found notation of the marriage several times but been unable to find the actual record. I need it for my DAR app. Thanks for your help Sue Crawford -- Suzanne Crawford -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Melissa Barker" <[email protected]> > Source: "The Stewart-Houston Times" Newspaper, a weekly newspaper of Stewart > County and Houston County in Tennessee > > Date of Newspaper: Wednesday, May 5, 1971 > Page: A-2 > > Name: James Ruben Moore > Age: 93 > Born: June 22, 1877 in Christian County, Kentucky > Died: April 29, 1971 at Clarksville Memorial Hospital in Montgomery County, TN. > Funeral: May 1, 1971 with Milligan Funeral Home in Stewart County, TN. > Burial: Moore Cemetery in Stewart County, TN. > Parents: Dr. John R.
