Now do you know who Thomas Boston b. ca 1840's mother was? A descendant of Thomas told me he suspected Ruth Boston as his mother because Thomas named a daughter Ruth but he had no proof of that. He said he knew Thomas was not George's son because Thomas's pension file has an affidavit from David C. Boston saying he is Thomas Uncle. ......if David C. Boston is an Uncle, then Thomas would have to be a son of a brother of David. Since Christian wasn't born till 1861, he's out! That leaves George Boston, Jr. b. 1824 (only other brother or step-brother)! I have no spouse or children listed for him. The other possibility is that Thomas was an illegitamate son of one of David's sisters (or step-sisters). The oldest step-sister of David would be Elizabeth, b. abt 1827. Think 13 is a bit young! The above makes me lean toward George Boston's brother, Andrew Boston b. 1807. Have no further info on him except he died aft 1850 possibly in Ky???? Gary J
