Dear Rick, Are you related to those Woodards in the Smith Co., area, many of whom were born in Jackson Co? I have a huge Woodard file and would like to talk to you. Question? Do I have this correct? I do not have all the children listed of Roderick Jenkins, however I have that two of his sons were James and Samuel. If my records are correct both of these sons (and brothers) married sisters. Reuben Goad and Mary Witcher had several children, among whom were daughters Sabra, who married Samuel Jenkins; and Susannah who married James Jenkins. My Jenkins file was developed in my search on Witcher family, etc who married into these Jenkins lines. Have Woodards who married into my Green line, hence that file. Have lots of Ricks but not sure where you fit in. One of Samuel's sons was Henry L. Jenkins who married Lucinda Gregory, Henry and Lucinda had a daughter named Martha Elizabeth who married George Richard Silcox. George Richard and Martha E. Silcox are pictured on the Smith co. website and they are burried in the Heitt cemetery with their son (my grandfather) George Benton Silcox.
