    3. but again, in 1930 she says 1872, I guess she got younger as she got older...LOL Rick So many records are just there to confuse us more I think. :-) I have numerous people with birth dates that don't match what the census says. :-) I've had a birth date for my husband's gr-grandfather of Dec. 31, 1855. 1900 census gives his birth as Dec 1856 I just received his death certificate which gives his birth as April (no day) 1858. Age 75 years 5 mos with death date of Sept. 21, 1933. The informant was his son so you would think he would know his fathers birth date. Concidering his death date and given age on his death certificate April 1858 would be correct. However that date doesn't match his age in any given census or the date I had for him. :-) So now I need to find my source for the birth date I have for him and see which one I want to believe!
