I had another line of BOSTON in Smith County, Jones Boston, who appears in 1811 on Goose Creek. He went to Lauderdale County, Alabama by the 1820's and then later on to the Republic of Texas, where he and his wife died in 1840 in Montgomery County of yellow fever. I have never been able to track him back outside of Tennessee or prove that he was related to George or Christian or some of the other Bostons there. Jones married Nancy Ann Carter, daughter of William Carter from Halifax County, North Carolina. But there do not appear to be any Bostons in early Halifax County, North Carolina. I think he came out of southside Virginia, but I can't make a connection yet. Frankie
