    1. Re: [TNSMITH] Boston
    2. Nancy, I hate to argue the point here, but I don't think that Jacob "Jake" Boston can possibly be the son of George and Matilda?? George was first married to Juda Cope abt 1820 and had children born between 1821 and 1836. Juda died in 1844 and he then married Matilda Parkhurst on April 17, 1845. They had children born between 1847 and 1861. If they had Jacob, he wasn't born until 1874 and Matilda would have been 46, which is not impossible, but unlikely that much time took place between the birth of Christian in 1861 and Jacob in 1874?? I just think we have SOMETHING missing here?? Sue G, Lebanon, TN In a message dated 7/14/05 11:44:24 P.M. Ray's parents were William Pickering Boston (b 1894 - d 1955), and Mary Annie Hesson (b 1897 - d 1937). Ray's grandparents were Jacob Boston (b 1873 - d 1941) and Margaret Evelyn Hesson (b 1868 - d 1953). Ray's great grandparents were George Boston and Matilda Parkhurst. They had a son Christian Boston who married Margaret Evelyn Hesson and Martha Hesson. Ray shows that Christian and Martha Hesson Boston had children: Stirling, Minnie Bell, and Alice. He doesn't show any children for Margaret Evelyn Hesson and Christian, although they could have had some. All the above information Ray passed on to me before he died. I am from the Hesson side of the family. Nancy Hunt
