Yes, I have that Shirley, she was a sister of Margaret Evelyn Hesson and Christian's first wife. I do not wish to offend anyone with what I'm now going to say. I have some documents (papers on settlement of George's estate? I think, I'll have to dig them out)that were sent to me where David C. Boston states that George Boston had "only" 3 sons and he named them, George, David & Christian. So even though Jacob is listed as a son in 1880 census I don't think he was George and Matilda's son. I also don't believe Thomas Boston 10 years old in 1850 census is George's son either. I suspect that Thomas and Jacob were illegitimate sons of one or more of George's daughters. I can't prove any of that for certain but I was contacted by a descendant of Thomas Boston's some time ago that also believed Thomas was the son of one of George's daughters but also had no proof.
