Marc: This is the same Tabitha Goad. She was born 13 July 1838 married Enoch Carter in 1868 and died 29 October 1912. She is buried in the Sanderson Cemetery, Smith County TN. It is written that Enoch Carter was killed. Do you know what happened to him? Tabitha reportedly lived for a time with her sister Elizabeth who married a James Pharris then with Thomas Dixon Goad in Mississippi. (her brother) before returning to Tennessee. Did Enoch and Tabitha Goad Carter live in Jackson County, TN?
