I have been trying to locate the ancestor(s) of my paternal great grandmother for some time now. She is listed in an Agee book as "Miss Baird". However the death certificate of her son (my grandfather) Horace Greeley Agee lists her as Sally JONES The information that I have been able to find is that her mother's second husband may have been a Baird and she therefore adopted that name. She also may have been the daughter of Mary Talley and Simeon Jones. I have not been able to verify her lineage. My great grand mother was married to Jesse W. Agee. They are both buried in the Agee cemetery on Pigg Branch. She was born 18 July 1835 and died 7 January 1906. There were 6 children Mary Elizabeth Agee b about 1857, Horace Greeley Agee b 30 Dec, 1858 d 13 April 1917. Robert Lee Agee B abt 1865 Lucinda Agee b. 9 April 1867 d. 8Sept. 1921 Sarah Amanda Agee b 20 July 1869 d 12 Dec 1904 Docia Green Agee B 22 Sept 1870 d.23 Aug 1891. My grandfather Horace Greeley Agee was the minister of the Hickman Springs Primitive Baptist Church Any help would be appreciated
